Xnet DSL (also called 'Clothed' DSL) is a full line speed broadband connection that runs over your existing home or business phone line and is available to most line rental holders throughout NZ.
An ‘Always on’ permanent ADSL connection means that you can surf the Internet and talk on the phone at the same time, you are always connected. No need to wait to ‘dial up’ with faster downloading speeds you will never be waiting impatiently again!
Xnet DSL plans have a DSL2+ profile. This basically means that where your local exchange has been upgraded - and as long as your modem can handle it - we have the latest technology variant, to promote better speeds and quality connections.
Speed is a tricky subject. Our DSL plans all are "Full Speed" meaning they are as fast as your connection will allow. Overall your speed will be governed by a large number of factors - maybe check out our Knowledge Base if you want to know more, or try our line speed checker to measure your speed.
Data
With all Xnet DSL plans you manage your own data cap. You simply set your cap to what you can afford, and when it reaches that level during the month, the speed of your connection is slowed. Want higher speeds again? Simply log in to increase your data cap at any time during the month. What's more you will only ever pay for what you use!
