Xnet now offers Internet users the ability to design their own broadband plan based on their individual needs and budget. No more paying for blocks of data that you may never use. Decide upon a speed plan best suited to you then customise a method of billing tailored to your needs.
'Pay Per Meg' charges a flat rate of $0.001 per MB (approx $1.02 per GB) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is ideal if most of your time online is spent browsing, sending email and the occasional download.
By choosing the user profile 'Torrent' you pay $0.0015 per MB (approximately $1.54 per GB) during the on-peak hours of 8am until 2am. In return for this we’ll give you up to 75GB of National and International data used between 2am to 8am FREE!
Local network traffic (regardless if you choose Pay Per Meg or Torrent) will also continue to be free, any time of day or night. This includes any traffic used to make phone calls.
Please note the Torrent option is not suitable for people who surf the net or play on-line games between 2am and 8am: as speeds are affected by the P2P and downloading activity of other users.
At WxC we want to help all our users have a better experience and by offering the Fusion Torrent profile this will mean large volume subscribers – especially those using peer to peer or torrent applications – will be encouraged to do their non-time critical downloads during the off peak period; which will relieve pressure on the network during the day and give all Xnet users a better experience.
